1975-76 Fender Telecaster Custom

Serial number dates to 1975, and the one original pot, and humbucker date to 1976. Filled non-original humbucker route under bridge. One non original tuner. Three pots replaced with CTS 1 meg linear taper (correct values and taper). NOS correct value and type caps. Original finish, throughout. original pickups. Original bridge including the rarely seen ashtray cover in great shape. Wiring has been modified slightly from stock. Frets measure .027-.030". This great old Tele has a fresh set up and fret polish. Its an easy player with very low action. It's got a great snappy Tele sound and the humbucker is thick like molasses. The wiring has been set up like a Les Paul for better interaction between volume and tone pots. A true relic, this fine git earned its scars the real way, working its ass off in smoky bars and nightclubs. Includes original hardshell case in good shape. $2000.00

1972 TELECASTER BASS

$1400.00 This a big ol' hunk of bass right here! This bass has a new nut, and the frets have been leveled, crowned and polished- IT PLAYS GREAT! All electronics have been cleaned (pots from '75) and are in perfect working condition with no scratchiness or static. And it sounds huge thanks to the (lovingly termed) MUDBUCKER! This classic fender pickup has balls and sustain for miles. Thick, creamy riffs ooze out like molasses. This bass looks outstanding. The original nitro on the headstock has ambered nicely and the logo is in great shape. The neck shows only the slightest wear. It is smooth and feels good. The finish shows some aging, typical scratches, swirls and pits. There is a bit of sand-through on the back of the horns and the edges (very very slight). The body has been resprayed original blonde nitro lacquer. The untouched factory blonde, and stamps are still present in the cavities. Other non-original parts include the pickguard (which is a perfectly aged replica), the bridge cover, and string ferrules. Original parts include the neck, body, tuners, wiring, jack, pickup, screws, bridge, barrel saddles, springs, strap buttons, frets, neck plate, neck screws, micro-tilt, and of course, the case! All the original hardware looks great and the tuners turn smooth. The trussrod works properly, as does the micro-tilt. This is a serious machine that was built, and sounds, like a bulldozer. You will not be dissapointed.

1950s Gibson L-48

$1000.00 Here is a simply beautiful Gibson L-48. This guitar plays wonderfully -really. It sounds snappy and punchy like a good archtop should. Non original bridge, tuner buttons, P.G. bracket bolt and nut, and truss rod cover. There is a repaired crack and some binding repair at the endpin, and there seems to be evidence of a neck reset. This guitar needs nothing and it is ready to play. The FON on this one seems a little contradictory, it appears to point to either '51 or '54. I will look into it a little more as well as getting some better pics.
