1972 TELECASTER BASS
$1400.00
This a big ol' hunk of bass right here! This bass has a new nut, and the frets have been leveled, crowned and polished- IT PLAYS GREAT! All electronics have been cleaned (pots from '75) and are in perfect working condition with no scratchiness or static. And it sounds huge thanks to the (lovingly termed) MUDBUCKER! This classic fender pickup has balls and sustain for miles. Thick, creamy riffs ooze out like molasses.
This bass looks outstanding. The original nitro on the headstock has ambered nicely and the logo is in great shape. The neck shows only the slightest wear. It is smooth and feels good. The finish shows some aging, typical scratches, swirls and pits. There is a bit of sand-through on the back of the horns and the edges (very very slight). The body has been resprayed original blonde nitro lacquer. The untouched factory blonde, and stamps are still present in the cavities.
Other non-original parts include the pickguard (which is a perfectly aged replica), the bridge cover, and string ferrules. Original parts include the neck, body, tuners, wiring, jack, pickup, screws, bridge, barrel saddles, springs, strap buttons, frets, neck plate, neck screws, micro-tilt, and of course, the case! All the original hardware looks great and the tuners turn smooth. The trussrod works properly, as does the micro-tilt.
This is a serious machine that was built, and sounds, like a bulldozer. You will not be dissapointed.

1950s Gibson L-48
$1000.00
Here is a simply beautiful Gibson L-48. This guitar plays wonderfully -really. It sounds snappy and punchy like a good archtop should. Non original bridge, tuner buttons, P.G. bracket bolt and nut, and truss rod cover. There is a repaired crack and some binding repair at the endpin, and there seems to be evidence of a neck reset. This guitar needs nothing and it is ready to play. The FON on this one seems a little contradictory, it appears to point to either '51 or '54. I will look into it a little more as well as getting some better pics.

2006 '67 Flying V Reissue
SOLD!
Super nice 2006 Flying V '67 Reissue. Seriously, this is the best playing guitar that I have owned. It has added aftermarket chrome pickup covers that really mellow out the ultra hot 500T and 496R factory pickups. Did I mention it plays great? All original except for the tone cap, and someone has been in it with a soldering iron. A few nicks and scrapes, includes NOHC.
1962 Les Paul Junior
SOLD!
Polaris White! Over-sprayed, and then 14 hours of wet sanding later, this all original '62 LP/SG Jr is ready to roll. All electronics cleaned and working, frets dressed, original bridge shows signs of wear. HEADSTOCK REPAIR! The repair is solid, but a little ugly. The P-90 is killer (go figure!). Original pick guard is a bit warped. Pots date to 1962.
Tom's Epi
A friend got this guitar for free and told me "make it good, make it cheap." He gave me a neck, a body, two pots, and six tuners in a garbage bag. The body was totally covered in colored duct tape. Somebody had started a nasty route for a humbucker. I made a nut, dressed the frets, oiled the tuners, cleaned and oiled the fretboard, gave the body a good cleaning and buffing, and made a pick guard that would hide some nasty marks and cover the open cavity around the GFS P-90. I was really happy with this pickup, and I'm picky about my P-90s. It sounds great.
1978 Marauder
SOLD!
1978 Gibson Marauder with a Seymour Duncan P-90 in the bridge position. It has obviously taken a few knocks in it's day but it's spirit remains unscarred. New nut and fresh setup.
1986 '62 SG Reissue
This guitar made me truly love SGs. Top heavy, weak neck, and all. When I got it, it needed a few parts and good setup. By the time I gave it to my good friend John it was set up nice and sounding great. I really dig how the cherry finished turned a reddish brown.
